About Us
In 2003, a very unique and
personalized dog collar and lead were
created and handcrafted for our pups Gypsy Rose and Buddy. The idea was born
from a desire to have a personalized and dramatic
collar that was different from
anything that was commercially available.
We also handcrafted a
leather dog collar
and lead that reflected our wish
to have a luxury product that was highly comfortable and durable - and one that
had "interchangeable adornments".
After all, once you invest in a luxury product it would be nice to be able to
continue to customize it without having to re-invest in a new
collar.
With their
Reversible Collars and
Leads, Gypsy Rose and Buddy became
the center of attraction (a great way to meet new friends)! On our walks, visits
to the
grooming salon, and even the
veterinary hospital, we were constantly asked, where did you get those
collars and leashes? I love it!
We changed the
Pup-Pup Art
Buttons to fit our mood, or the holiday, and it got to the point that people
made a bee-line for us when they saw us, just to see what was new on the
collar and
lead!
 Gypsy
Rose, who is an extremely secure girl (12-year old Shih Tzu, "queen of the
household" and whom the world revolves around!), just felt it was a natural
thing to be so adorable. She reveled in the attention she received!
Buddy, our adopted boy (with an abused background) just smiles
as he strolls (kicking his short little Shih Tzu legs as he walks) with his head
held high. He looks like the proud "Lion Dog" that he is! How can we, and
people we meet, not respond and praise him? In fact, Gypsy Rose might be a
little jealous because his little strut is what people respond to first.
We starting handcrafting gifts for our friends pooches until
finally, we decided to leverage our 20+ years of sales and marketing experience
(and an under utilized art degree) and founded
Pup-Pup Designs!
After extensive (and exhaustive) research we have not found
anything like our design on the market and in fact, we have patents pending on
our designs.
Pup-Pup Designs is our hearts
delight. We hope you enjoy our products as much as we enjoy making them for you!
